BIO:

Jerran Gouge is a life-long Tennessean. He was born and raised in Elizabethton,
Tennessee. He graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2006. He then attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he participated in the Pride of the Southland Marching Band, University of Tennessee Chorus and University of Tennessee Concert Band. He also served as a Resident Assistant Then Jerran and was the Student Government Senator for Gibbs Hall. While at the University of Tennessee, Jerran had the honor of serving his state as the Chief Clerk for the Tennessee House Government Operations Committee in 2009. Jerran graduated in 2010 with a degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration, where he graduated magna cum laude.

 

Jerran subsequently attended the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of law where he graduated in 2013. During this time, Jerran earned the CALI award for academic excellence in the Elder Law Clinic and served as a clerk for Division VII of Shelby County Circuit Court.

 

Jerran has served in private practice, as an assistant district attorney and most recently as a corporate litigator. He believes in a client-based practice and likes to get to know his clients, so that he may provide them with the upmost care during their time of need.

 

During his spare time, Jerran enjoys golf, tennis, and being active. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and anything related to the Vols.
